Loaf Pan Warm Apple Cinnamon Cobbler

I just love the combination of apples and cinnamon. I just tried this recipe recently and was very happy with the result. I think the apple and cinnamon mixture could even be eaten by itself. This recipe is very quick and easy to make. I made a loaf pan sized serving, though this recipe can easily be doubled and fill a round cake sized pan.

* 2 large apples
* 1/2 cup water
* 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
* 1 tablespoon cornstarch
* 2 tablespoons sugar
* 1/2 whole wheat flour
* 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
* 2 tablespoons canola oil
* 1 1/2 teaspoons honey
* 1/2 cup milk
* 1 teaspoon vinegar

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 C).

2. Mix cornstarch with water using a fork until smooth.

3. In a large saucepan over medium heat, add the apples, cinnamon, sugar, cornstarch, and water. Cook until apples are soft and mixture has thickened, about 10 minutes.

4. Pour the apple mixture into a loaf pan.

5. Prepare the biscuit dough by mixing the whole wheat flour and baking powder together. Add the oil and stir until well mixed. Add the honey. Mix milk with vinegar and add. Stir with a fork until mixture is moist.

6. Drop dough by tablespoon on top of apples mixture.

7. Bake for 20 minutes or until biscuit dough is golden brown. Serve warm. Enjoy :)

Thank you for visiting!

My kids love cobblers but Im really not a fan of them

That looks so good! I had a cobbler for the first time in DIsney in 2008, and now I can't get enough of them!

There is nothing better in this world than apples and cinnamon, I think it has to be one of my favorite combos.

I'm seriously hungry for this. It looks delicious and I know the family would love it too. This is a great winter day warm up goodie.

Sounds and looks delicious! I love some apple cobbler!

I always make peach cobbler I bet Apple cobbler take amazing!! I'm def. going to try and make this :)
I have a meat loaf sized pan I hope it works :)

Cobblers are so easy to make. This looks delicious!

Oh yum! I would definitely make this for my family, we love anything apple!

This looks yummy for those who like apple cider, or apple pie. This wouldn't be eaten in my house...but maybe with berries instead...

Apples and cinnamon are the best! I live in a tropical country and the apples we get shipped here are probably not as good as the ones you have but anyway, they are still apples and will always be good with cinnamon!

I make one that is very similar to this one. We have it every few weeks because it is so easy and really good. I will have to try your recipe.

I'm drooling over this recipe! I love that you've modified the recipe to be healthier than the traditional cobbler. Definitely trying this. Thanks for sharing.

This recipe looks and sounds delicious! You are so right I love the taste of cinnamons and apples together! It is the perfect fit. I am going to be making this while off on break.

Apple and cinnamon is one of my fave combinations, too. I only discovered it rather recently in the past year. (I know, for shame) Now I'm a sucker for the crumb cake, pies, cobblers.. yum!

It looks delicious, I love cinnamon.
